Well, Ottawa was hit with several rainy Wednesdays, pushing back our #7 racecar to a June 12th start. Though we remained in the top 10 overall for the majority of the race, a blown front right tire dropped us back a bit. Robert came in fourth of the 4-cylinder vehicles, and 18th overall. Don’t forget to catch the next race on July 10th at Capital City Speedway, and we’ll keep you updated on Robert’s progress!
Robert’s comment for race #2: “We will be back and better than ever for the July race and we will show the people even more WORX power!”
We spent a day up at the Edmonton Garrison in Edmonton, AB, with one of our national distributors, spreading the word about WORX products. Nisha and Mel from marketing enjoyed the road trip, and the opportunity to chat directly with those who have very dirty hands on a daily basis. We were lucky to be out and about during the few dry days we’ve seen so far in June! Andrew from sales has spent a few weeks on the road, as well – he was in Memphis, TN for an event with another national distributor, and spent some time in Ontario with yet another distributor.
Look for our upcoming ads this summer in Today’s Trucking, Plumbing & HVAC, and Canadian Technician magazines.
Our website is due for an update/upgrade/overhaul, so here’s your opportunity to play creative director! Visit our website and tell us what you would like to see changed! We’d like to get as much feedback as we can, as we anticipate launching the new site in time for our 20th anniversary.
Stay tuned for exciting updates about our 20th Anniversary Celebrations – we will (hopefully) be able to announce one or two of our plans starting in July!
